Josh & Anise. 6/19/10.

After running home on Saturday from my sister's car wash to shower and run out the door, we arrived at my church for Josh and Anise's wedding. As soon as we pulled up to the door, I could hardly believe how precious it looked. We walked around to the back lot, where helpers were still getting everything ready for the reception. On the side of the church were little white lanterns with glowing candles standing in the shrubs, so cute!!!
Anise was an AMAZING wedding planner that had literally everything planned out. She had a thick binder with pictures of the perfect displays and instructions for the helpers on the big day. Our first project was fixing the cupcake tower with the white and and brown frosted cupcakes.
Here is the tower in the day light. I was fortunate to get only a few pictures of the wedding decor. Sadly, no pics of the bride and groom! I know...so sad.

The "M" cake topper was really cute, and of course perfect for Mr. and Mrs. Muench. :)

It was just such a great experience! Although I was pretty bummed we had to miss the ceremony, it was so much fun getting everything together and making sure everything looked great. The food was served buffet style, and while the guests waited for the bride and groom to enter the reception, there was a table all decked out with candy and goody bags for people to snack on some yummy treats. I loved this idea and it is actually really popular for weddings today.
Branyn and I were super busy running around and making sure things were in place but I did get the chance to take some quick snap shots of the decorations.
This was SO pretty! I loved this lantern with the purple ribbon. Another thing I fell in love with were the garlands of pictures of Josh and Anise and fun paper decoration. It was so beautiful and simple.

The reception was even more wonderful at night with strings of lit lights everywhere.
There were not only delicious cupcakes, but red velvet cake too!

The wedding went really late, so we had to scoot out a bit early. We missed the confetti throw at the bride and groom's exit, but I'm sure there will be amazing pictures of the night from the photographers that were there. It was so neat to help out and it was really inspiring too. I have realized lately that I have a love for weddings, but to actually be involved in making something look lovely makes my passion grow even more. :)

Sweet Weddings.

As you may already know, I am absolutely in love with weddings! They are so fun and festive and filled with friends and family.
Last week my sister and I got a phone call from a girl at our church who will be getting married tomorrow and she needed a bit more assistance getting everything ready for the reception. I was so thrilled that she invited us to help her out! I'm really excited to see the decorations and be apart of the special day.
To top off the awesome weddingness, (new word I created) we received my cousin's wedding invitation!!!!
We are all very thrilled to visit New York and Vermont again and spend time with the beautiful bride-to-be.
The invitations were so elegant and simple and I know the wedding will be just breathe taking!
The colors are blue and white and the theme is Cape Cod. The flowers will be hydrangeas and the bridesmaids will be wearing deep blue dresses. Pretty, huh?
I'm so happy to be flying back in August for the big day. I wish it was here already!

Summer!

I am so excited that summer has finally begun. I really can't believe it though! How fast time flies by.
I have been enjoying the warm, sunny weather and the loads of fresh fruit. Both of these things make me fall in love with this time of year.
I have made a list of things I want to do over the summer months, I hope to accomplish them all!

Things I want to do/Places I want to go in the summer of 2010:
- Spend the day at the park. ( Hike & Picnic.)
- Get all of my desposable cameras developed from trips past.
- Make my first blueberry pie.
- Spend at least one morning at my favorite coffee shop.
- Have a "Sprinkles" cupcake.
- Travel to Santa Barbara for a day.
- Spend an evening having tea with Joanne & family on the porch.
- Take lots of fun pictures of the East Coast in August and spend lots of time with extended family.

I know I will be adding lots more to this simple list. Summer has just begun and I want to make the most of it!
