Grandpa Comes for a Visit.

Last Saturday, my Grandpa Bob came out for a visit for the first time in 3 years. It was so fun to see him again, I could hardly believe three years had gone by. The last time he visited I was transitioning into Jr. high, and now I am just one week away from being done with my freshmen year of high school!
His visit was packed with fun things and fun places. We took him to the Orange Circle, Crystal Court, Fashion Island, Roger's Garden, In-n-out(of course), and many many more.
It was a blast listening to all of his stories of family and childhood memories. He has such a great sense of humor!

It was hard to say goodbye, but I know that It won't be long before I see him again.

Mother's Day.

Sunday was a fun mother's day. My sister and I had a successful day on Saturday, getting gifts for my mom. We went down to her favorite store to get her a teacup and then a gift card to Peet's Coffee and Tea shop. For Sunday morning, my sister and I prepared the table with some breakfast- tea, banana bread, fresh fruit, and orange juice. It turned out pretty delicious! (Except those pieces on the banana bread that didn't quite cook...)
We had a great church service and then had lunch back at home. Got ready for our bible study that we go to each week. It was a fun and low-key mother's day. We had a great time together!

"Adventure is Out There!"

Yesterday was a simple but enjoyable day. I woke up pretty early to get my last bit of school work done. I wanted the day to be free for the fun.
Did you hear that Starbucks is having "Frappy Hour"? Yesterday was the beginning of this week long frappuccino bargain. It went from 3-5. It is always a treat to go to Starbucks and I was so happy to hear about this! My mom and I got vanilla bean frappucinnos(You can never go wrong with one of those) and my sister got a caramel coffee frappuccino. After, we went into White House Black Market and Anne Taylor Loft-so pretty!
At 7:00 pm, we went to the Circle to see the movie 'Up.' It was my second time seeing the movie, but my mom and dad's first. Such a great movie. I love the message and I always cry at all the sad parts. We couldn't beat the price- it was free! My favorite.
We ended up back at Starbucks once again, since all the cute little stores we love to look in were closed.

Today, since my dad and mom are at a work event, my sister and her friend are going to take me along with them for us to pick up some mother's day treats. I'm looking forward to it! I'm thinking a gift card and something cute. I wish I could buy more, but I think she will like it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy some fun!

It feels as though I haven't blogged in forever! I miss it.
It's been fun and busy since I last blogged. I've had tests and projects for the end of the year. (Which is exactly one month away from today!!)
To celebrate the end of STAR testing, my friend Ariana and I went out to Starbucks. It is always so fun and uplifting to hang out with special friends and just chat.
This weekend, Ariana and I went to see the play "My Fair Lady" for an assignment we both have. It was wonderful!! I had just seen bits and pieces of the movie, but I realized I was really missing out. What a great story.
That's all for now. Will blog later this week! :)
